The Siena College Chorus and Musicians of Ma’alwyck premiered new Mass for the New Jerusalem for chorus and string quartet at the Chapel at Carondelet Hospitality Center in Loudonville, NY under the direction of Tim Reno. Thanks to all the musicians for their excellent performance!

Out of the Deep was written while Composer-in-Residence for the Cathedral Center for the Arts in Phoenix, Arizona (from 2001-2003). For men’s voices, the piece takes advantage of the full male vocal range to create the full range of emotion in this remarkable psalm.
