Fall/Spring 2005-2006 – American Composers Forum Community Engagement Award. Given for writing I Will Lift Up Mine Eyes for the Chamber Singers of Sherwood High School in Sandy Spring, MD under the direction of William C. Evans.

May 2002 – Outstanding Graduate Student in Music History, Theory, and Composition. Given by Arizona State University at the ceremony awarding my M.M. degree.
1998 and 1999 – Special Achievement Award. Twice awarded to me by the Library of Congress for my work in the Music Division on behalf of the National Digital Library Program.
